Precognize is looking for an Algorithm Team Leader

 

We are looking for a passionate hands-on AlgorithmTeam Leader to lead our team and develop new innovative machine learning ideas from conception to realization.

You will oversee the creation of innovative ML models and oversee their implementation and integration into our production systems.

Position Scope:

• Collaborate with product managers to understand business needs and build solutions together
• Perform complex research and analysis that includes data collection, processing, and result communication, to enable decision making and trigger development activities.
• Being able to train elementary machine learning models, to select the right tool

or the right task and to judge when a model is good enough for a particular purpose

• Discovering and translating business challenges into code-base and model framework.
• Convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all stakeholder levels
• Demonstrated knowledge of the ins and outs of data science
• Mentor to junior team members in the team
• Perform code review

Knowledge & Skills:

• M.Sc. in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 4+ years python experience (with focus on Data Science Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn)
• 1+ year of experience as a data scientist/machine learning engineer.
• Previous experience managing a Data Science/Algorithm/Backend team.
• Strong theoretical and practical background in a variety of machine learning techniques, including unsupervised learning.
• Experience with relational or/and big-data databases (MongoDB, InfluxDB,Neo4j, Elasticsearch).
• Excellent communication skills
