Precognize is looking for a Software Test Engineer

 

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our organization and work on the company’s web-based application. As a part of the team, you will lead our QA efforts Design, execute QA plans on all products and take part in enhancing our QA Automation based Applications.

Position Scope:

• Design, develop, and execute tests for the new features, as part of software releases.
• Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, raise if not fixed.
• Review and execute DevOps operational scripts.
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation coverage, speed, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain automation infrastructure setup from scratch.
• Automate regression testing during product development life cycle, using frameworks.

Knowledge & Skills:

At least 2+ years of experience in testing web applications.

• At least 2+ years of experience in hands-on Manual Testing. Ability to analyze user stories and define test cases based on them.
• At least 2+ years of experience in creating Automation test cases based for Web
• Experience with at least one Automation Framework (such as Appium, Selenium, etc.).
• Linux Experience with CI/CD tools as Jenkins, Github actions
• Experience with shell/bash scripts.
• Experience with containers / container management (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Basic programming knowledge, preferably using JAVA
• Fluent English communication skills both verbal and written
• Dedicated and passionate team player
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred coverage.
