Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated FPGA Engineer to join our team and take part in developing NextVision imaging solutions for small UAVs and drones.

Responsibilities

• Take part in all aspects of camera system development.
• Implement hardware and HDL-based camera functions.
• Support algorithm definition and optimization.
• Perform performance validation and system bring-up.
• Support handoff to production.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware and FPGA development.
• Proficiency in VHDL.
• Experience in C programming.
• Familiarity with MATLAB – an advantage.
• Solid understanding of build flows and debug methodologies for Altera/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Proven design experience with ARM-based SoC systems – an advantage.
• Practical experience in PCB-level debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with standard processor peripherals such as SPI, UART, I2C, etc.
• Familiarity with high-speed industry-standard protocols such as MIPI, HDMI, etc.
• Experience in imaging system development – an advantage.
• Proactive, can-do approach to multidisciplinary challenges.
