We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer with a proven track record of building Agentic AI systems and Orchestration pipelines at scale. You'll architect and lead the delivery of complex AI solutions for enterprise clients in an environment where AI is at the core of every product we build.

What you'll do

  • Partner with clients to find where AI creates real value, and lead technical design from discovery to production rollout
  • Architect agent and multi-agent orchestration: routing, tool use, memory and safe failure modes.
  • Design advanced RAG over enterprise data, with hybrid search, re-ranking and access-controlled retrieval
  • Own AI quality and security: evals, guardrails, observability, PII handling and prompt-injection defenses
  • Make the hard trade-offs (agent vs. deterministic code, model routing, cost and latency)
  • Set the team's AI coding workflows and engineering standards, and help shape M.ai's delivery practice

What you bring

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience – Must
  • 6+ years of software engineering, with deep backend and production full-stack experience Strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python, React, and production experience in another backend ecosystem (C#/.NET, Java or Go)
  • A proven track record shipping LLM agents & RAG systems to real users, not demos – Must
  • Daily spec-driven development across AI coding harnesses – Must
  • Strong system design (distributed systems, microservices, event-driven) and cloud-native experience (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC)
  • A deep understanding of AI reliability: evals, guardrails, observability and context engineering
  • Strong technical product thinking and the ability to explain trade-offs to engineers and executives alike
