QA/QC Controller

Are you passionate about quality and precision in high-tech industrial environments? We’re looking for an experienced QA/QC Controller to ensure the highest quality standards across our process piping manufacturing, fitting and welding projects.

Working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors, you’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, overseeing inspections and ensuring every stage of the project meets the required quality standards.

Your Role: Quality Assurance & Project Excellence

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supervising all QA/QC activities across process piping manufacturing and installation projects
• Implementing and monitoring Project Quality Plans and Quality Control Plans on site
• Developing and maintaining inspection schedules and quality documentation
• Supporting Project Managers on all client-related quality matters
• Coordinating and supervising inspection activities, reports and quality records
• Allocating QA/QC personnel across project activities
• Assessing the qualifications and competencies of welders, technicians and inspection personnel
• Supporting subcontractor quality control and performance management
• Participating in internal and external quality audits and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Managing material traceability and tracking systems
• Overseeing equipment calibration and certification programmes
• Supporting welding qualification procedures, NDT activities and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Conducting project risk analyses and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and company quality management systems

Your Profile: Quality Professional

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• EU citizenship or the right to work within the EU
• A technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• HSE certification (advantageous)
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a QA/QC role within industrial or mechanical projects
• Experience working on process piping projects within the semiconductor industry or similarly regulated sectors
• Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication and process piping quality standards
• Experience developing and reviewing Project Quality Plans, technical specifications and contract documentation
• Experience planning and conducting internal and external QMS audits
• Proven ability to manage inspection processes and successfully close out non-conformities
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, clients and subcontractors
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
