Build the mobile app that connects Senseer sensors, their users and the cloud. You will own Android and iOS end to end: hardware integration over BLE and NFC, the firmware protocol, sync, security and store releases.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Android and iOS apps from the ground up: architecture, UI, performance, testing and store releases.
  • Connect the apps to our hardware over BLE (GATT, pairing, over-the-air firmware updates) and NFC (read, write, tag provisioning).
  • Implement and maintain the firmware communication protocol: framing, retries, error handling and offline sync.
  • Own mobile security: TLS certificate pinning, Android Keystore and iOS Secure Enclave key storage, encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Design the local data layer (SQLite, Room or Core Data) and reliable two-way sync with the backend.
  • Work with the embedded, backend, data, product and QA teams to take features from first requirement to production.
  • Help shape technical and product decisions when requirements are still incomplete.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional mobile development.
  • Production apps shipped and maintained on both Android and iOS.
  • Strong native, Kotlin Multiplatform or Flutter experience, and a clear view on which fits this product.
  • Hands-on BLE or NFC work with physical devices, beyond high-level libraries.
  • Solid grasp of mobile security, binary protocols, networking and offline-first design.
  • Experience designing local data models and syncing them with cloud services.
  • Able to debug across app, connectivity, firmware and backend.
  • Comfortable working from a PRD that changes: you ask the right questions, document decisions and keep moving.

You'll do well here if you Want to own a demanding product, not one isolated layer. Are comfortable testing against real hardware and chasing problems across system boundaries. Balance careful architecture with practical delivery. Communicate clearly with engineers from several disciplines.
