Senior AI Engineer

What you will do

• Build agent workflows that retrieve information, query operational data, call tools, and produce recommendations or reports.
• Develop retrieval systems over equipment documentation, building records, and relevant standards.
• Connect agents to platform APIs, analytical services, and ML models.
• Define permissions, approval steps, and audit trails for agent actions.
• Create evaluation datasets and tests for factual accuracy, tool use, and task completion.
• Use tracing and monitoring to find failures and improve reliability, latency, and cost.
• Work with product and building specialists to turn useful prototypes into features operators can depend on.

What you will bring

• 4+ years of software engineering or applied AI experience.
• Hands-on experience shipping an LLM application or agent workflow to production.
• Strong Python skills and experience building APIs and backend services.
• Practical understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation.
• Experience with an agent framework or custom orchestration.
• Sound judgment about when to use an LLM, a predictive model, or deterministic software.
