Q - Senior iOS Applications Engineer

Description

We are looking for someone who operates independently and leads projects, not someone who waits to be handed a task. You will own iOS initiatives from idea through production, collaborate with product, design, and hardware teams on Bluetooth/BLE and IoT integrations, and mentor other engineers along the way. This role is fully onsite.

Minimum qualifications

BSc in Computer Science or a related field

7+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C)

Experience with macOS development (AppKit/SwiftUI/Catalyst)

Solid experience with Apple frameworks such as AVFoundation, Core Bluetooth, and Combine/async-await

Preferred qualifications

Proven track record of independently leading projects end-to-end: defining scope, designing the architecture, breaking down the work, and driving execution through to delivery

Proven expertise in designing and shipping large-scale, production-grade applications

Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE protocols and IoT device communication (advantage)

Familiarity with on-device ML/AI processing, specifically CoreML (advantage)

Solid understanding of REST/gRPC API design and client-side networking

Experience with CI/CD for mobile, debugging across platforms, and performance optimization

Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring or guiding peers

Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows.
