We are looking for a skilled, proactive Senior System Administrator to join our Platform Engineering group. You will own IT operations end-to-end (identity, endpoints, cloud, network security, and compliance) across a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment, and work closely with R&D and DevOps. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own day-to-day IT operations: user support, onboarding and offboarding, servers, workstations, office infrastructure, server room, and Network 
  • Provide IT support to employees and technical support to R&D and DevOps teams (environments, access, infrastructure) 
  • Manage identity and access: AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SSO/SAML integrations, and employee and vendor access 
  • Administer Azure and AWS subscriptions and accounts (IAM, permissions, quotas, VMs) 
  • Monitor cloud spend and report cost anomalies and savings opportunities (FinOps) 
  • Operate network security: firewalls, VPN, switches and VLANs, DNS/URL filtering 
  • Run security operations: endpoint security (EDR) alerts, incident response, vulnerability and patch management, and security awareness training 
  • Coordinate with external security vendors on penetration tests and hardening 
  • Own ISO 27001 compliance: maintain evidence (log reviews, backup validation, endpoint compliance) and prepare for and support audits 
  • Maintain on-prem infrastructure: virtualization, storage and backup 
  • Manage licenses, equipment and computer procurement 
  • Work AI-native: use AI assistants and agents (e.g., Claude, Copilot) daily to troubleshoot, document and run IT operations faster 
  • Build and maintain AI skills and agent workflows that automate recurring IT tasks (onboarding, access requests, compliance evidence, reporting) 
  • Build IT process automation (PowerShell, Python) and drive adoption of internal AI tools across the company 
  • Write and improve IT procedures and documentation

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of system administration experience across Windows and Linux 
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365 administration 
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS 
  • Strong networking and security knowledge (firewalls, VPN, switches, VLANs) 
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise backup solutions 
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python) 
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in daily technical work 
  • Strong ownership and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented 
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Hebrew
