Interoperability Test Team Leader

In your role as an Interoperability Team Leader at the INFINIDAT Solutions team, you will lead a highly skilled unit responsible for ensuring the Interoperability, availability, stability, and seamless integration of our core product, the iBox.

You will drive the rapid implementation of new solutions across a diverse ecosystem of client platforms and third-party services, ensuring top-tier compatibility without compromising on system performance. In this position, you will work closely with various company departments, including Product Management, R&D, Professional Services, and Support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Interoperability QA engineers, driving technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
• Participate in technical reviews, including requirements, development design, test design, and field reports.
• Investigate and analyze complex system-level issues to ensure product stability and quality.
• Own test planning, design, execution, and ensure comprehensive interoperability coverage.
• Set up, maintain, and improve complex, long-running hardware and software test environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing methodologies, infrastructure, and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical Team Leader, with strong leadership and people development skills.
• At least 5 years of experience testing complex, distributed software and hardware systems.
• Strong hands-on Linux knowledge, including system administration, troubleshooting, and scripting.
• Solid understanding of enterprise storage architectures, including SAN and NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Excellent communication skills, technical leadership, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Automation and AI mindset:

• Automation-first mindset, with a passion for replacing repetitive manual activities with efficient, scalable solutions.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent technologies, or demonstrated ability to adopt them quickly.
• Ability to lead the team through AI adoption, encourage innovation, and continuously improve testing processes.
