• We are looking for a senior developer with a data engineering background to join our growing team and build our data infrastructure and methodology. About Brightmerge:

• Brightmerge is a startup company offering a data-driven decision-making platform for energy professionals to use in developing, designing, and operating of local renewable energy networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable infrastructure and methodology that lets us bring new models to Production faster, without reinventing the wheel for each new business use case.

• Design and implement the best production architecture for integrating models into our production pipelines

• You’ll be part of a team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

• Transform product specification into a successful scalable platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with large scale data applications

• Experience with designing data pipelines & data lakes.

• Experience with Big Data architectures and real-time data.

• Building and designing large-scale applications.

• Node.js

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with statistical software (e.g. Python, MATLAB)

• Experienced working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

• Experienced working in an Agile environment Startups
