About the Role:

Brightmerge is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Integrations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the integrations component of our product. This includes out of the box extensions and connectors to various systems, the frameworks and services that support them, and our ETL pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product and field teams and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and plans
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to more junior team members including through code reviews and pair programming
Lead our integration architecture ensuring we develop robust, reliable, systems.
Develop extendable libraries and utilities to help reduce development time and ensure we’re building scalable, high-quality, solutions.
Ability to conquer the unknown and adapt to shifting priorities and requirements. Our team responds quickly to market trends and is regularly working with new systems.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of development in NodeJS, ideally building SaaS applications
Experience building scalable distributed systems
Vast experience in software design principles and building mission critical solutions
Solid unit testing & behavior driven development foundations
Experience with Amazon Web Services and serverless computing
Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills
Extremely driven with a growth mindset and can-do attitude
Love for what you do & a sense of humor
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
