Java Backend Developer

Job Description
Java Developer with Java experience work for a start up company where you will have the ability to work on cutting edge technologies within various phases of development life cycle. Be part of a new product that push the hardware and software boundaries

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in an engineering or similar role
• Development experience on Play, Tomcat or Jetty is highly desired
• Experience with Maven, Eclipse, Junit, XML, Web Services, Spring
• Knowledge in object oriented design and programming
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with Linux
• Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation and deployment
• Deep expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design
• Experience developing object-oriented, web-based consumer applications in 3-tier environment. Experience with high volume direct consumer applications a plus.
• Diverse and deep experience utilizing Java tools in business, Web, and client-server environments
• Strong experience optimizing service performance for large volumes of data
• Experience building and delivering highly scalable, reliable, and complex software systems on-time and on budget
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through launch

Advantages:

• Experience with common Javascript libraries such as JQuery, AngularJS, BackboneJS, ExtJS or KnockoutJS preferred
• Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
